I saw this on Nano and it can sometimes help with coming up with plot-twists. What you do is you post three things that you think would be a good plot twist to any kind of plot. Usually, the second and third ones are based off of the first. But, doesn't matter. Have fun with the dares!!!

1. Have something explode
2. Make the thing that explodes be peeps in a microwave
3. Have the peeps be the size of the Empire State Building.

Dare:
1. Put something in your script that is leftover from another script/movie/play.
ex. That suitcase full of money that gets left by the side of the road in Fargo shows up in your movie...
2. Make the leftover object be a character from the other work.
3. Make the leftover object have a conversation with one of your MCs.

3. Have the character be extremely distracted by the large Guatemalan discussion group at the table next to him/her.
