Writing can be hard, especially 100 pages in 30 days - but you don't have to do it alone.
That's why there will be two Sydney SF! 2008 write-ins at Star Bar (the former Planet Hollywood).
If you've never been to a write-in before, they're good fun. They're both an opportunity to give yourself writing time, and also to encourage and help your fellow SF!ers and, in turn, be encouraged and helped by them.
So, if you want to experience the joys of a write-in for the first time or again, details are as follows.

If you're unfamiliar with Star Bar:
* it has good reasonably-priced food, and the kitchen is open 12pm-10pm
* there's lots of room
* it's quite central, and very close to Town Hall Station
To find us:
1) Walk in through the front doors of Star Bar
2) Go up the stairs
3) Walk ahead to the Rotunda, a large enclosed area
4) Walk around the Rotunda to the right and look straight ahead towards the main bar
5) Look up and to the right, and you'll see a black Mad Max car hanging from the ceiling
6) Underneath the Mad Max car is an alcove with a large table - that's where we'll be
Minors are allowed, but they must be supervised at all times and definitely cannot purchase and/or consume alcohol.
WHAT TO BRING
* Yourself
* Whatever you write with - powerboards will be provided for laptops and other electronic devices
