So, whatchawriting?

So, now that everyone's had a chance to get their script started ... what are people writing?

Mine's either a screenplay or a short film screenplay (we'll have to see) that's a comedy about a loudmouthed sports commentator who's forced to take a month-long vow of silence.

RE: So, whatchawriting?

This is my first time writing a full length script so I decided to just have fun with it. As such, I'm writing a cheesy B slasher flick about a group of teens that end up stranded on a remote island where they are stalked by an angry viking.

If I somehow manage to finish with time left over, I think I may script an episode of the 60s Batman show.

RE: So, whatchawriting?

I'm writing the script for my webcomic- which I plan to launch at the end of October. I figure since the story itself starts at a Haloween party it would be good to start the strip then.
Anyway my working name is "As We Know It- a Webcomic about the End of the Worlds" and it's about a group of people who are sent after a sword which is believed to have powers that can help avert the Final War.

And I may find a way to include some angry vikings :D

RE: So, whatchawriting?

I decided to adapt last years (still to be finished) NaNo efforts. I'm hoping the completion of one will inspire the completion of the other.

It's mostly a romantic comedy; but there's lots of other stuff too. Who knows, it may end ups as something completely different than what I started out trying to write.

RE: So, whatchawriting?

Oh. I could totally add an angry viking or two! but what do vikings say? I keep thinking "arr"; but, that's pirates.

I am writing the script for a RPG. And everybody I say this to think I'm mad. Little do they know JUST how much story/talking there is in your standard turned based RPG. Best of all, my little pixilated characters are limited to 5 expressions! Neutral, hands in the air, looking down, blinking rapidly, and laughing. MUAHAHAHAHA...

This is my first attempt at a one-hander so here's hoping it goes well!

You're doing 100 pages of monologue? *gasps*

I hope you're putting in a lot of pauses. ;)

I think that's so cool! That thought had crossed my mind as well, but I had already committed to working on the script for my future webcomic.

RE: So, whatchawriting?

I'm working on something I'll probably end up putting up as a webcomic/actual comic-book-thingie if I ever get bored enough.

THE STICK FIGURE ADVENTURES.

Speaking of which, off to the dares thread -.-

RE: So, whatchawriting?

Trilogy of action/adventure/parody shorts which may end up as crappy live action or even crappier animation. Not sure yet.

After that, dig out old RPG/Adventure game ideas.

RE: So, whatchawriting?

Zombies. Zombies caused by global warming. And mushrooms. Nasty, turning-people-into-zombie mushrooms.

Reworked the title from the boring "Spore" to something a little more fun: "An Inconvenient Zombie Attack"
