Hey, Ethereel (Etherelle) again!
So, we tested out Cafe Noto last Sunday with a very casual kick-off party with four members and it looks like a nice place to hunker down and call "HQ". We even shared a word with the people who worked there (since we believed it to be fair to give them a fair warning), and they're eager to provide.
Cate Noto has all a writer needs!
-Food
-Drink
-Free Internet (YES)
-Bathrooms (YES TO THE SECOND POWER)
-Couches (YES TO THE YES)
And...
-Outlets! (THANK YOU, YES)
And it's in the middle of comfy Windsor on the Green, a great place to absorb inspiration from your surroundings and find information (there's a book store just down the street). Not only that, but it has the famous Powell's Sweet Shoppe just two stores down, which always proves a great bargaining tool if you're the competitive type.
i.e.
"Last one to reach five pages in the next hour, has to buy us CANDY!"
AND, it's a great source of energy if you're not the caffiene type (like myself).
So, myself and others have agreed to meet there regularly unless there are other writing events going on.
Who: You, of course! Frenziers of all size and type!
What: Write-Ins (Power Writing Hour!)
Where: Cafe Noto in Windsor Town On the Green, look up directions on Mapquest if you must.
When: 3 (or earlier if you prefer) until 6 (when the cafe closes), every Sunday. 3-6PM every Sunday!
How: WITH THE POWER OF THE FRENZY.
So, we'll hope to see you there, and it'll be easy to spot us out! We'll be the ones possessively gathered around the outlets and the couch with laptops and notebooks. You know, the people with bags under their eyes. ;D If we're lucky, we might even have a sign with which to identify our table.
