Hooray today is the online write-in. I want to be there.

Problem is I can't get into the chat room. The connection fails every time. Is it me? Or, is it that I am too early, and it isn't set up yet?

If I can't get into the chat box I will let you know how I did today in this thread instead. *crosses fingers*

I'm in there now - if there are any other problems post them here and i'll try to get to them as soon as i can=)

I am the one that keeps popping out. The room won't let me change my name. Every time I try it disconnects me. If I try to talk, it disconnects me. Then, I start with a brand new name.

What am I doing wrong? I can see you guys, but that's all I can do.

One last thing. ARGH!

sorry! i didn't get this until just now (which is frustrating because i've been refreshing since i posted) but i'm not actually sure what's causing the issue - did you try closing the window and opening again? it also might have to do with your browser - if you're losing something other than the latest version of your software, that might be part of the problem. i'm running it on the latest version of firefox. if none of these things work, i'll report the problem to the ML running it=)

"it also might have to do with your browser" I considered that, too. I was using Firefox 2.0.0.13 so I did switch to Internet Explorer to see if that helped. Nope.

I wonder if it's just that my computer is very very sad. *shrugs*

karalianne said it might have to do with your ISP or your firewall - i'd check your firewall settings first and i would also recommend downloading the latest version of firefox - just to be safe.
