Is There Anyway for Pen-writers to Verify?

My partner and I are doing our script by hand. I tried to type it out, but it took an hour to type one of my written pages, because I couldn't get used to the scripting style of Celtx. I noticed that the one page I typed ended up being 5 pages on Celtx.

I'm at 40 pages now, it will take forever to type it up. Is there a way to scan my written script to verify it instead of typing it out?

RE: Is There Anyway for Pen-writers to Verify?

At the moment, there is discussion of the verification process being done by PDF... this may mean you can scan.

However, you can also invoke the same Luddite clause as NaNoWriMo has. Since this is an on-your-honor challenge, the idea is to be verified by a third party. Simply have someone else look at your script, verify that it is indeed at least 100 pages, and then you can submit a proxy file.

Now, how that proxy file is created is up to you. When details of verification are released, you can figure out the easiest way to do so.

Just giving you an update. The validation process is indeed done by PDF, so you CAN scan your pages to PDF format and upload them. :) As a matter of fact, the validator is online, so you can give it a test run if you like.
