It seems that the stories I've seen past NaNo participants tell about how moving to a new city during the month of the challenge causes you to fall behind are true. :-/ Of course, it also has to do with the fact that now that my responsibilities are so greatly simplified compared to college life, I spend spare time less productively (in terms of writing) than ever.

I know what you mean. I'm taking a sabbatical of sorts from full-time work. And you would think I would have my screenplay done by now with only working part time. But I don't. Because when it comes to making good use of my spare time, I'm an idiot. :)
