TGIO was fun & Congrats to everyone!

I know I haven't been on the forums since early April. Life sort of got in the way. I just wanted to say that the kids and I had fun tonight. Thanks to everyone for being so kind to my youngest kiddo. Congrats to everyone for either finishing or making the attempt like me. Now we can start outlining for November =)

Congrates to everyone who attempted Scriptfrenzy, whether you won or not! Just participating and trying is a lot of work when its during the month taxes are due. :D

RE: TGIO was fun & Congrats to everyone!

Im just curious. How does ScriptFrenzy compare to NanoWriMo?

I think 50,000 words would be much more difficult than 100 pages...

RE: TGIO was fun & Congrats to everyone!

I think it depends a lot on how you like to write. NaNo is easy in part because, if you get stuck, you can start paying very close attention to detal and how people say things and describe what food is sitting out on the table and what it smells like and what it looks like.

I've only NaNo and Screnzy once, so I'm no expert, but I had much more difficulty with this script than with the novel. Then again, my "novel" wasn't so much a novel as it was "interesting" scenes from my life, so I don't think that counts. I'm considering turning my script into this year's NaNo novel, so we'll see how that goes. =)

I found screnzy and nano equal. I can very easily make my word count or page count using the same techniques.
