Non-winners only!

Wah! This is a forum for people who DIDN'T win to chat...Why didn't you all win?
I didn't because I was incredibly lazy and busy, which sounds odd together...

RE: Non-winners only!

Haha, I was lazy and busy too. So I didn't win this year. BUT I did win last year, and this year's script was a continuation of last years, so alltogether Sand & Stone is 144 pages long and still going strong. I'm rather proud of that. Of course, I've still got to finish this thing... then edit...

RE: Non-winners only!

I didn't win by choice. I knew if I wrote my story in 30 days it would have been a hellish nightmare to fix. Therefore, I decided to work on it at a much slower pace. I still finished almost half. :) I am happy.

RE: Non-winners only!

I just sort of gave up about two weeks in. Also, I think that my grand, brilliant ending is best as an ideal and on paper would probably make me cringe and die of... well... something but I'm sure I would probably not come out alive so I'm still putting it off.

Congratulations to everyone who attempted this madness because, as my non-scriptwriting cousin said, "well, you have(insert page count here) pages more than I do."

RE: Non-winners only!

Eh, I was just plain busy. School KILLS scripts. XP

It was more like...3 stories wanted to be told at once, and I couldn't finish any of them from lack of proper time and too much schoolwork, along with profound laziness at the later half of the month. Sooo...yeah...

RE: Non-winners only!

Yeah, I was part of a Shakespeare troupe, and I was going to rehearsals and preformances all through April. And when I wasn't doing that I'd sort of look at the computer and say, "Ah, I'll do it later." and then the last day came along....I wrote two pages on the last day though, which was 20 percent of my final count...LOL.

RE: Non-winners only!

I had such high hopes for the script I was working on ... mostly hopes of finishing it. There was just a whole lot of stuff that came up during April, so I had to put Screnzy aside. It also started veering off course from day one - as in, different-universe-unknown-characters kind of off course - so I had no idea what was going on, and it ended up a total mess. But life goes on! ^_^
