Join writers from New Zealand and around the world to write 50,000 words in the 30 days of June. The Southern Cross Novel Challenge (SoCNoC, pronounced "sock-nock") is NaNoWriMo for the southern hemisphere. June provides the wintry weather and long weekend that we miss out on in November.

SoCNoC was first held last year with 60 people participating and collectively writing almost 1 million words.
