So I'm writing a musical, and have always wanted to have a dance fight, so I'm planning on my Main Character getting in a dance fight with antagonists. They will both be trying to bludger each other in the head with their band instruments. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to go about writing this?
(and if it helps, MC is a bassoonist as is the antagonist)

well, you could always have the mc stab people with the mouth piece, as it is long, hard and metal...

You could always have someone push a Timpani onto another characters head. Also, say one of the fighters are a tuba player. You could seriosly have the Tuba player shove his tuba onto the other character's head. What would be amusing is if the Tuba cannot be removed.

The trombonist can play her instrument, pushing that piece (whose name I don't know) forward into someone.

The grand piano can close on someone's head. (more orchestra than band)

Drummers can drum on any body part.

Violinists have sharp bows. (more orchestra than band)

Flutes and clarinets can be used like batons (or numchuks).

A saxophone has a nice curve, useful for pinning someone down, I think.

Amen to the using the clarinet as a baton. My head felt that first hand! Picture a mouthpiece shaped bruise...

And don't forget, you could always give them batons like the director uses and have sword fight! Those are always fun!
