Mixing it up

My opening number is something like a rondele, followed by another number that is two groups singing / competing off of each other.

and now my third song is a lullaby-solo. whew.

I was a bit worried that my mind was set in group singing, highly charged.

what song styles does anyone else have?

RE: Mixing it up

I do alot of solos with a few other singers as compliments mostly. My only real group songs are my opening and the finale. Most of my other songs are solos. I.e, the Janitor, The Dean, the MC, the group of friends (which is sort of a group, but there's like, 4 of them, and only one sings at a time.), and a few others I haven't quite decided exactly what are going to be. I'm kind of fearing my script won't be able to stretch to 100 pages. You can only go so far with an MC, a hat, and a janitor singing with a mop.

Only in the light of the shade do the greatest minds flourish.

RE: Mixing it up

::thinks:: My 'opening number' is in a sorry state at the moment. Let's not think about that. xD

The next number (atm) is an awesome, high-energy, hypnosis piece. I'm pretty much in love with it. Very techno. xD

Next comes... ::checks:: a number with the press interviewing my MC. Then comes what I guess is a reprise, though it may go with a different name that I like. XD

Next up: where I am now, actually. See, these two guys have fallen for this one girl (it's inspired by a midsummer night's dream, shakespeare) and they're kinda... tangoing with her. Well, one may be waltzing and the other may be tangoing. XD It's a LOT of fun to write.

RE: Mixing it up

I've got everything from a mopey ballad to a tongue-in-cheek march. The next number is Glee Club type up-tempo thing titled: Kiss My Everloving Ass!

RE: Mixing it up

I haven't written any yet, but I have three planned: A big opening number, an angry solo rant, and a techno song sung by a Dalek.
