By my own standards, I might say this has not been a rousing success.

There might be a small miracle required for me to win this year, or at least another half a month remaining.

Still, I love my idea, and my characters have proven to be better than I hoped. With some plotting and actual structure this might be awesome.

Me, I haven't written a darn word. Not even a "the". In due time. My idea is sort of on the fleshed out side of things now and I just found a graphic novel script template that I like. sooo, off I go. At some point today I vow to have at least one page written.

How is everyone else doing?

So, I'm taking a short break from working on my script to post this question. Does anyone else feel as though April is just a horrible month to try to be working on a script? Number one, I have a wicked case of spring fever. Number two, this is a birthday and visiting filled month where I seem to have something going on every weekend (not just this year but every single year). Number three, I'm still recovering from NaNo. Number four I have a wicked case of spring fever. Yes I realize I repeated the spring fever part of this post. It was a long winter and now that the weather is getting nice the last thing I want to be doing is sitting on my behind and working on a script. I want to be playing outside. Anyone else feel this way or is it just me?

So, since I finally decided on my plot last night (naturally the one I wrote five fewer pages of...) I figured it was time to ask!

Genre? Subgenre? Format? Don't have to give away the twist, just what's keeping you interested at the moment!

Me:

Drama/Thriller, TV at the moment, but I'm going with BBC miniseries (like one or two long episodes) and the reason I picked it over the other idea was last night I realized the way my timeline fell, one of my main characters meets the dead girl, who sort of triggers the McGuffin!

Where are you all? Let me know and let me know the absolute number one place to write in your area (street adress, or at least name of the place would be even better). I can't wait to get started planning meet ups!

I'm in Southington, and as all the nanos in the group know, the HFD area group is pretty strong, but you tell me where you are, and we'll see what fun new coffee shops we can torment... erm, give our patronage!
