INT. ATTIC

The flicker of the candles cast odd, moving shadows across the myriad of boxes and bookcases.

The three girls sit cross-legged around the Ouija board, candles between them. They giggle drunkenly.

ROXY
You ask next, mmmkay?

CHRISTINA
Ummm, I don't know what else to ask. Oh, I know. Close your eyes?

The three girls put their hands on the puck and close their eyes in concentration.

CHRISTINA
How will we do at the game next weekend?

JILL
What kind of a stupid assed question is that?

ROXY
Hey, it's no worse than asking it if Pete likes you - a blind man could see that!

CHRISTINA
Will you two shut up and concentrate? Good. Now, Ouija board, how will we do at the game next week?

The girls open their eyes as the puck moves around the board . It spells out Y-O-U-W-I-L-L and stops for a moment.

CHRISTINA
Concentrate on the question please.

The puck starts it's journey towards the W, but before it gets there abruptly turns and points to the D. Then the I. Then the E.

Christina screams, jerking her fingers off the puck like she was shocked. The other two remain in their drunken silence.

Christina, frightened, pushes herself away from the board, then quickly exits down the ladder, jumping off the last couple steps.

JILL
Rox, your're an evil bitch, you know that?

Roxy looks at her in disbelief.

ROXY
I didn't move it this time.

Jill gives her a questioning look, shrugs her shoulders and blows out the candles.
