My script is Juno meets Never Been Kissed
Logline Hold it....
Main character would be played by Kristin Bell (I still think she's too attractive but 7 out of 10 friends agree)
My soundtrack would be Quirky and clever, with music and songs by Jon Brion or the Polyphonic Spree
An Excerpt from Group Shots

INT. STEVE’S GARAGE - DAY

Dani, Jason, Steve, Barry, Lyndon, Harmon, Amanda, Liz and Laura adorn Steve’s garage. In it, apart from the usual washer/dryer, outdoor accessories and refrigerator, are several video game systems and a huge flat screen plasma T.V. In front of it are controller instruments - a piano with colored keys, drum pads with bright rims, a few guitars and basses with buttons instead of strings, and a microphone on a stand.

Laura leans on the washer next to Amanda as Steve, Barry, Lyndon and Harmon “play” “TAKE THE A-TRAIN” on the video game.

AMANDA
I can’t believe you haven’t played ‘Jazz Set’ before.

LAURA
I didn’t even know about these fake band video games.

AMANDA
Oh, sure. ‘Rock Band’, ‘Pop Band’, ‘Jazz Set’, ‘Funkadelic’. There’s quite a market for wannabe music stars.

LAURA
Does Steve have them all?

AMANDA
Steve has everything. If it’s a musical game, he’s got it.

STEVE
(yelling over the song)
I’ve even got a karaoke showtunes game.

Laura laughs. Jason looks over.

AMANDA
I rest my case.

LAURA
Seems fun.

AMANDA
Yeah, in most of them you create a group and a group name and then you tour and stuff. You can even create characters and at gigs you earn money to dress them.

LAURA
That’s pretty involved.

AMANDA
Oh, it is indeed.

The song ends and everyone claps.

BARRY
Whoo! Five snaps, ladies and gentlemen!

LAURA
(to Amanda)
Snaps?

AMANDA
That’s the rating system in the game. Five snaps is the highest.

STEVE
(taking off the guitar, to Laura)
This is where you come in.

Everyone kind of gathers around Laura. She looks a little uncomfortable.

LAURA
Me?

STEVE
We hear you’re a singer.

LAURA
Former.

BARRY
Well, in the game, in order to unlock certain clubs, we have to get five snaps in all of the songs.

LYNDON
We were kind of hoping you knew some of the songs and could, you know-

HARMON
Sing them.

STEVE
Awesomely.

LAURA
Well, I’ll do what I can. I’m a little rusty.

JASON
I’ve heard you in the shower. You are rust-free.

Everyone looks at Jason and Laura strangely.
