| Favorite films/plays | Movies: The Royal Tenenbaums, The Darjeeling Limited (and all other Wes Anderson films); Foreign Correspondent, Vertigo, Day For Night, Stolen Kisses, Barcelona, Metropolitan, Last Days of Disco, Zero Effect, Brick, Amelie, Mememto, Big Fish, any Monty Python film, Cradle Will Rock (not to be confused with Hand That Rocks The Cradle), Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Be Kind Rewind, The Big Lebowski (and other Coen Bros. films), Eternal Sunshine, Serenity, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, etc. I generally like offbeat films that you don't know where they're going. I also enjoy classic films, like Casablanca, To Have And Have Not, The Thin Man, Touch of Evil, His Girl Friday, Duck Soup... What I don't like are big-budget Hollywood craptaculars without any brains or thoughts as to plot or character... Plays: The Man Who Came to Dinner, Arsenic and Old Lace, Anything Goes (ok, it's a musical, but it has great songs as well as a very funny book), You Can't Take It With You; The Hardy Boys and the Mystery of Where Babies Come From (by Christopher Durang). TV: Chuck, nuDr. Who, Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Lost, Modern Family, Flash Forward, Arrested Development, Ashes To Ashes.
