Mac is sitting at her desk, typing away on the computer. A COURIER approaches.

COURIER

McKenna Scott?

MAC

Yes?

COURIER

I have a package for you. Will you sign on line 32 please?

Mac signs for the PACKAGE. Courier hands it to her and leaves.

INSERT - THE PACKAGE

Plain brown envelope, full but not overly stuffed. FOCUS on the return address:

"McFee Solicitor Office. Inverness, Scotland."

Mac opens the envelope and pulls out a STACK OF PAPERS. We see CONFUSION and DISBELIEF as she scans through the papers. She gets up, still reading, walks to the back of the room and into an office.

There is DOOR leading to another office. The name plate reads: EARNEST BEDWELL - CEO.

Mac sits down in a chair in front of Kathy's desk.

KATHY

What is it, Mac?

MAC

(not glancing up)

I inherited a cottage.
