An Excerpt from Struggle (Working Title)
NARRATOR
We had done it, killed what seemed like millions of terrorists, saved a lovely pilot and escaped a nuclear threat. Then that call came that would change my whole life...
Background fades in.
RADIO
Attention all U.S. forces! We have a confirmed nuclear threat in the capital! NEST teams are on site, attempting to disarm. I repeat-
Suddenly a gargantuan explosion erupts in the distance, sending a shock wave into the helicopter. Anderson looks at Pelayo, then at Jackson, as if something even worse is about to happen.
Suddenly, Anderson slips out of his seat and quickly grabs onto the door piston of the helicopter. Jackson moves forward and grabs Anderson's left hand.
NARRATOR
It was frightening, holding onto dear life. I looked at Jackson and Pelayo, that when I noticed Jackson was losing his grip as well. I had to do something.
Anderson smiles. Jackson's eyes widen.
CLOSE UP ON THEIR HANDS
We see Anderson let go of Jackson's hand. He flies out of the chopper and into the dusty sky.
