Anti-Orange Commercial
Green Voice
It's 9:15, do you know where your children are?
Picture of a clock. Two parents sitting on a couch look at each other and then shake their heads and shrug at the camera.
GREEN VOICE
Used to be you could trust they were safely in bed, or at worst running away to join the circus.
A parent looks in at a sleeping child. Another parent sees a rope made of blankets leading out the window and rushes to look out. Outside a child rides an elephant into the distance with a ringmaster, clowns, etc.
GREEN VOICE
These days though, there's a whole new cadre of diversions and temptations that lure to lure them away from home. Petalpushers, Intangible gangs--
Petalpusher: A bunch of kids have flowers on their heads and delirious looks on their faces. They are clearly getting high. A shady man offers a flower to another child. Intangible Gang: 2 groups of youths with coordinated outfits dance fight in the street.
GREEN VOICE
--the troubles of youth today are varied and legion, but the worst of them all is Orange.
A hideous orange beast with tentacles and claws and flames gnashes its mandibles and twirls its extremities menacingly.
GREEN VOICE
Orange is the most addictive color known to Figurians. It may seem harmless, but it can destroy a promising life in the blink of an eye.
People with fiendish looks in their eyes build with orange. Close up of a face. Orange swirls around the edges while the face transforms from a regular smiley face to a disheveled scruffy sad face. (If I can pull it off)
GREEN VOICE
It starts off small, a sand castle at the beach, an enthusiastic interest in sealife, or a miniature contained fusion reactor--
A child builds an orange sandcastle. Another child has an aquarium with orange crabs, clams and starfish. A third child recreates Dr. Octopus's experiment from Spider-man 2.
GREEN VOICE
-- but from there it's just a click and a snap away from a full fledged Orange addiction. Talk to your kids about Gingervitis, before it's too late.
Click and snap are illustrated by extreme close up of orange bricks being put together. In fact, in stead of saying "click" and "snap" the voice may pause there and let the noise of bricks being put together fill in. Last shot is of the creepy orange monster from earlier.
GREEN VOICE
This message brought to you by Green, a color you can rely on.
FASTTALKER
Paid for by the council that will be very upset if you don't favor Green after all the hard work they've done.
