| Favorite films/plays | Glee (yes, I'm a Gleek) along with Mean Girls and Star Trek. Throw a little Harry Potter in the mix, and I'm good for life! Also, I recently saw Remember Me, and although the acting was the worst I've seen in QUITE a long time, the ending blew me away. That's what I write for and why I write. |
| Other interests | I like writing. And writing. And after that, I usually write a little more. I have no life. |

| Logline | A twenty three year old singer that's a little lost in life meets her first love after nine years apart. |
This is the second scene in my screenplay, not the introduction. Just thought I'd throw that out there. The story started the day before.
INT. LILY’S APARTMENT - BEDROOM - DAY
The room is messy. There’s a queen size bed with a dark blue
comforter thrown over it, messy and all over the place. Her
bedside table is full of knickknacks, from the one-inch long
plastic dragon to the worn edition of Lewis Carrol’s Through
the Looking Glass. From beneath the covers, all that is
visible of Lily is an arm thrown over the bed and her messy
hair. On the opposite side of the room, there’s a large
widow with curtains, but sunlight is peeking through. On the
wall next to the window is a closet with two wooden doors.
One of the doors is opened, showing near chaos inside. Near
the door, there is a pile of clothes, with a dog lying on
top of it. The dog is a Shetland sheepdog named ROSIE. On
the walls, above her bed, there is a painting of a girl,
looking away. It is a dark painting, but the girl resembles
Lily.
From inside the pile of clothes, Lily’s phone starts to RING
and VIBRATE waking her up with a start. Her head pops up
from the bed, and she squints at the old-fashioned Mickey
Mouse clock on her bedside table. The time is 10:15.
LILY
Shit!
She gets up from the bed, scrambling on all fours to get up.
She’s wearing plaid pj bottoms and a black tank top. Rosie
raises her head, but doesn’t get off until Lily pushes her
away. Finally, Lily finds the phone. It’s a slim, classic
Nokia.
LILY
(on the phone)
Yeah?
She presses the phone to her ear as she gets up, scrambling
for clothes. On the other line, you can hear MS. DANIELS’s
muffled screams.
LILY
(on the phone)
Yes Ms. Daniels, I am heading there
right now. I’m in the car as we
speak.
While she says that, Lily is digging through her clothes.
ROSIE
Woof!
LILY
(whispering to Rosie)
Rosie be quiet!
LILY
(on the phone)
Heading there right now! I’ll be
there soon!
Rosie paws at the door, her nails SCRATCHING ever so
slightly against the wood.
ROSIE
Woof!
LILY
(on the phone)
Bye Ms. Daniels!
Lily hangs up, throwing her phone onto her messy bed. She
looks at Rosie and opens the door to her room. Rosie
escapes. The camera follows Rosie.
KITCHEN
Rosie goes from Lily’s room to the kitchen. There are a
couple of plates in the sink, but it’s not as messy as the
bedroom is. There’s a clock on the wall, above the sink, and
instead of numbers, it has different types of sushi. The
fridge has several magnets and pictures on it, including a
picture of Rosie and her mother. She has a magnet for PIZZA
IN A BOX and a magnet of a flip flop. Next to the fridge are
two dog bowls. One is full of water, and one has some food
in it. Rosie sniffs at it a little before leaving. She goes
through another door, into the living room and towards the
front door.
LIVING ROOM
The living room has a small leather couch and love seat
looking towards a TV. It’s a small plasma TV. Between the
couches and TV, there is a wooden table. On it, a small
artistic bowl and a small disorganized pile of books. Over
the right arm of the couch is a small quilt, and next to it,
some dog toys. In the corner of the living room, there’s a
table with an Apple laptop, a cup full of pencils, a
notepad, and several more books. Under the table is a
multi-colored stool.
On the walls of the living room is a big window, without a
curtain. Next to it are several paintings and pictures.
There’s a painting of the Eiffel Tower next to the TV, and a
small picture of a tree. On the wall next to the front door
is an old fashioned record. The front door has a small slit
on the bottom, for mail, and the newspaper slides in, next
to some brown moccasins on the floor. Rosie picks up the
paper and brings it back to the kitchen.
KITCHEN
Lily is there, a small jeans tote bag slung over her
shoulder as she digs in the fridge. She’s holding a mug in
her left hand. Lily is wearing ripped jeans and a tight
black tee that says has a picture of a fat woman on it.
Above, it says ’its over’. Her hair is up in a bun, a few
strands falling out. She’s also wearing a small, delicate,
silver watch. Rosie brings the newspaper up to her.
LILY
Thanks Rosie!
She tucks the paper under her left arm and pulls out a bar,
which she sets on the table along with her drink. Rosie pads
out of the kitchen towards Lily’s room. Lily looks in the
fridge some more, and pulls out some rice in a green
tupp-er-wear, which she then dumps on top of Rosie’s food.
Rosie comes back into the shot with Lily’s cell phone in her
mouth. Lily takes it, slipping it into her back pocket and
petting Rosie on the head.
LILY
What would I do without you.
Rosie starts eating her rice.
LILY
I’ll be back around 5 OK Rosie?
Don’t miss me too much!
Lily picks up her drink in her left hand again, holding her
bar with the same hand. She then takes her keys out from her
jeans bag and holds them in her right hand. The news paper
is still under her arm.
LIVING ROOM
Before reaching the front door, Lily grabs her laptop, which
she slips into her tote bag. When she gets to the front
door, she slips on the moccasins while unlocking the door.
The keys JINGLE. She steps around the door, closes it, and
locks it again. There are several keys, along with a key
chain that says ’MUSIC IS LIFE’. They’re all attached to a
green key chain clip which she then attaches to one of her
belt loops on her pants. She presses the button for the
elevator with her elbow, and waits. The scene closes when
she gets into the elevator.
